About this event

Following their acclaimed 2023 appearance, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Müpa Budapest under its new music director, Martin Rajna. The thoughtfully curated program highlights the ensemble’s renewed dynamism, pairing Debussy’s impressionistic Prélude à l’après‑midi d’un faune with Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3 featuring Kirill Gerstein, an artist warmly regarded by Budapest audiences. After the interval, Rajna crafts a bespoke sequence from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suites I and II, shaping a fresh narrative arc for the concert’s conclusion. Tickets are offered with dynamic pricing and tiered Müpa+ presale windows.
