About this event

This concert production opens Washington Concert Opera’s 2026–2027 season. The evening includes a pre-performance talk at 5:00 PM inside Lisner Auditorium, given by WCO co-founder Peter Russell, which is included with the performance ticket. In addition, WCO will release a free online “Opera Gems” lecture by Peter Russell closer to the date. The performance runs approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission.
