Grammy-nominated violinist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall for a one-night-only concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Marking the 20th anniversary of his 2005 breakthrough album The Mysterious Production of Eggs, Bird performs the record top to bottom in newly expanded orchestral arrangements conducted by Jacomo Bairos. The evening continues with a suite of fan-favorite tunes drawn from nearly three decades of Bird’s genre-crossing catalog, weaving folk, jazz, and pop influences through the LA Phil’s symphonic sound. Presented as part of the LA Phil’s KCRW Series and in association with 89.9 KCRW.
