Academy Award-winning composer and director Michael Giacchino brings a Halloween doubleheader to the Walt Disney Concert Hall stage. The production is structured in two distinct halves, separated by an intermission. The first half serves as an exciting first look at Headless, a new musical developed by Giacchino alongside collaborators Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. Headless is produced in association with Michael Giacchino and Maria Giacchino. Following the intermission, the Los Angeles Philharmonic transitions to a live-to-picture performance of Giacchino’s score for Werewolf by Night. The production pays homage to the gothic-style horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, bringing Marvel’s horror comics history to life with style and suspense. Michael Giacchino himself serves as the host for the evening's program.
