Kinderkonzert I – Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin

About this event

Young listeners of kindergarten and primary-school age, together with their adult companions, experience children’s concerts in the Apollosaal featuring various musical ensembles of the Staatsoper and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. This season, the concerts are dedicated to a special anniversary: the 200th anniversary of the death of Ludwig van Beethoven—one of the most important composers in music history, a piano virtuoso, an improvisational talent, and a passionate advocate of equality, freedom, and brotherhood. The performances on 12 and 13 October are specifically designed as daycare (Kita) performances. The recommended age is 3 to 5 years.
