The Art of the Score is the New York Philharmonic’s premier live-to-film presentation series. Billed as the ultimate surround-sound movie event, legendary, multi–Academy Award–winning films are projected on a towering screen above the stage while the New York Philharmonic performs the complete musical score live in sync with the film. The series spans multiple seasons and genres, from modern animated favorites like Disney’s Encanto to classic blockbusters such as Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, along with acclaimed thrillers like Get Out and the classical music biopic Amadeus.
