About this event

This schools concert is designed specifically for children aged 3–7 (EYFS/Key Stage 1) and provides a relaxed and friendly environment to introduce young audiences to music, animation, and storytelling. The production integrates live music with digital animations created by Vic Craven, based on the book written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Daniel Egnéus. The performance is fully British Sign Language-interpreted to ensure accessibility for school groups. The core piece was commissioned by Concerteenies in 2023 with funding from the PRS Foundation and the Vaughan Williams Foundation, and was co-created with children and teachers at Beck Primary School and Whiteways Primary School with support from the Sheffield Music Hub. The interactive format includes songs and actions for the audience to join in with.
