About this event
In celebration of the centenary of jazz architects John Coltrane and Miles Davis, pianist Emmet Cohen brings together an all-star quintet to explore the questions that shaped their artistry: Why are we here? What are we reaching for? Where does the music take us? The evening traces the spirit of innovation, dialogue, and risk that defined both masters. Guided by the idea of the infinite, Cohen and his collaborators continue the journey set forth by these icons, searching for deeper truths through sound. Expect a boldly reimagined encounter with music that changed jazz forever, animated by Cohen’s belief that jazz is a living, evolving conversation across time and place.
