About this event

This concert is part of the Sunday Morning Concerts series at Wigmore Hall. The performance features the Valo Quartet, an ensemble launched in 2022 by Maria Włoszczowska, Artistic Partner of the Royal Northern Sinfonia, alongside three colleagues from the UK and Finland. The quartet’s name translates to ‘light’ in Finnish, reflecting their artistic vision and performance style, noted for its arresting intensity and luminosity. The programme brings together a diverse European repertoire, highlighting both established classical works and contemporary Nordic compositions.
