About this event
The recital, titled "The Memory of a Season," is a curated art song program exploring the conceptual and emotional impact of the four seasons. The artistic vision centers on memory’s power to free the imagination, using seasonal landscapes, changing moods, and states of mind as creative catalysts. Soprano Louise Alder and pianist Joseph Middleton will navigate a diverse cosmos of songs spanning multiple eras and styles, from Romantic lieder and French mélodie to 20th-century and contemporary works.
