Kindergartenkonzert: “Fünf Freunde auf Weltreise” is an interactive concert created by the Munich Philharmonic for children aged 3 to 6. A woodwind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon) guides the audience on a playful musical world trip, introducing orchestral instruments and sounds from different countries. The 45-minute format is designed for young ears, with a friendly, intimate chamber setup in Saal X of the Isarphilharmonie. Children actively participate through singing and body percussion, helping the musicians “travel” from stop to stop, including landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. The program features colorful pieces by composers from America, Denmark, Austria, and Hungary. Admission is free, but tickets are required and advance registration is necessary.
