This performance marks the first concert of the season for the young and highly acclaimed Leonkoro Quartet's residency at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Founded in 2019, the Berlin-based ensemble has quickly garnered international attention, winning prestigious competitions such as the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition and the Bordeaux Competition. Mentored by prominent figures from the Alban Berg, Hagen, Kuss, and Ébène quartets, the ensemble presents a morning program dedicated to the fundamental classical and romantic repertoire of Haydn and Brahms.
