Opera Rara continues its 2026/27 Salon Series with a day celebrating the life and music of composer Paolo Tosti (1846–1916). In a new partnership with the Tosti International Singing Academy, alumni artists from the Academy will present songs by Tosti alongside works by his contemporaries. Born in Italy but with an influential career in London, Tosti was once the singing-master to the British royal family. His compositions became staples in the salons of Europe and elsewhere, making this Salon Series presentation a fitting tribute to his historical and musical legacy.
