In This Room originates from a two-month residency at Thorvaldsens Museum, where the historical spaces became the framework for a musical experiment that inverted traditional composition and recording processes. The artistic vision stands in contrast to the growing use of artificial intelligence in the music industry, emphasizing presence, intuition, and craftsmanship. The staging concept brings acoustic instruments into an electronic universe, forming a cinematic alternative-pop sound world. The live presentation in Studie 3 scales this intimate, museum-developed project for a concert hall setting, using a dedicated ensemble to recreate the album’s blend of electronic textures and strong acoustic melodies.
