About this event

Hanne Boel is in an intensely creative phase, writing new songs for her next album. In autumn 2026 she invites the audience at DR Koncerthuset to become part of that process. For the first time in years she will let the material meet listeners on stage before it enters the studio; the live energy and audience response may help decide which tracks make the final cut. The concert will blend entirely new songs with the classic 80s/90s numbers that defined Boel’s sound. Together with her band—Jens Runge (guitar), Jacob Funch (guitar), Kristoffer Sjelberg (drums) and Jenno Bjørnkjær (keys)—she approaches the older repertoire with respect and playful curiosity, giving the music fresh colors while staying true to its spirit. Expect warm soulfulness, tight grooves and an open, present performance that speaks to body, heart and mind.
