This story from the Brothers Grimm’s Children’s and Household Tales is based on an episode from Johann Heinrich Jung-Stilling’s autobiography. Classified as a magic fairy tale, it invites young and old (ages 6 and up) to join Joringel in the search for the magic flower and on his mission to free Jorinde. Manuel Kressin’s staging is underscored by musical direction from Olav Kroeger. The set is designed by Britta Lammers, with costumes by Bernadette Nieslony. The visual concept is enhanced by video elements from Rene Gruener, with dramaturgy by Felix J. Mohr.
