About this event

Ich hasse Menschen is a post-digital tragicomedy framed like a futuristic sitcom. It peers into a near future where chatbots steer careers and smart fridges police diets, while a superintelligent vacuum robot named Volker shares a flat with Cuba, a metaverse-addicted gig worker, and Fanny, a human–machine therapist. The production integrates contemporary digital aesthetics and technologies, featuring video effects by Nils Corte and creative technology by Phil Hagen Jungschlaeger. Part of the “Zu den Sternen” series, it is a co-production with Yvonne Schaefer and ARGEkultur Salzburg, supported by the city and state of Salzburg. The show runs approximately 1 hour 30 minutes without an interval and includes strobe-like lighting elements.
