Familjekonsert – Orkestern! is a playful, family-friendly introduction to the symphony orchestra for children aged 5–10. Host Ayla Kabaca and conductor Alexander Hanson guide the audience through the orchestra’s instrument families—strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion—highlighting how each sounds on its own and together. Performed by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at Konserthuset Stockholm, the concert centers entirely on Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, inviting curiosity, listening, and discovery in a vivid, one-hour musical journey.
