This concert marks the Konserthuset Stockholm debut of the New York–based Calidore String Quartet, acclaimed for its insightful interpretations and unified ensemble sound. Curated around a transatlantic theme, the program highlights European composers shaped by American influences. A centerpiece of the evening is the world premiere of Anna Clyne’s The Seven Ravens, a joint commission by Konserthuset Stockholm. Framing the premiere are Dvořák’s warmly lyrical “American” Quartet and Korngold’s richly dramatic Third Quartet.
