About this event

The PARC Retirement Living North Shore Classics is a curated three-concert series presented by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for its 2026/2027 season. Designed to bring world-class orchestral experiences beyond downtown Vancouver, the series is hosted exclusively on Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm at the Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver. The programming balances iconic classical masterpieces with dynamic contemporary works. The series opens in October with a dance-inspired program featuring Bernstein's West Side Story Symphonic Dances alongside works by Ginastera, Enhco, and Simon. The winter concert delivers romantic intensity with Rachmaninoff's demanding Third Piano Concerto and Mendelssohn's atmospheric "Scottish" Symphony. The season concludes in the spring with a vibrant pairing of Mozart and Richard Strauss.
