This staging of La Traviata is a production originally created by the Teatro Massimo di Palermo, featuring stage direction by Mario Pontiggia. The visual identity of the staging incorporates distinct references to both Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements, creating a sumptuous and highly detailed environment. This luxurious spatial design is further complemented by an opulent wardrobe that reflects the wealth and decadence of the Parisian society depicted in the opera. Musically, the production is anchored by conductor Francesco Ivan Ciampa, who will lead the Euskadiko Orkestra.
