Toledo Opera’s original production of Verdi’s Aida brings the monumental opera back to the Valentine Theatre stage for the first time in more than a decade. Framed as a sweeping romance layered with desire, sacrifice, and destiny, the production immerses audiences in the epic drama and pageantry of ancient Egypt. Led by stage director Linda Brovsky, choreographer Matthew Steffens, and conductor Adam Turner, the staging promises Verdi’s unforgettable arias, soaring duets, and grand choruses, supported by a full SATB chorus assembled for this large-scale presentation.
