Symphony Spooktacular is a Halloween-themed installment of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts series. The production transforms the concert experience into a “haunted house of sound,” designed to engage younger audiences with classical music through a festive, interactive atmosphere. It encourages active audience participation—costumes are a must, dancing in your seat is encouraged, and laughter is guaranteed. The musical curation focuses on spooky symphonies, mysterious melodies, and hair-raising surprises, using well-known eerie classical pieces to introduce children to the expressive power of a full symphony orchestra.
