This concert is part of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's newly rebranded "Classics" series (formerly Masterworks) for the 2026/27 season. The program showcases timeless symphonic works alongside vibrant new voices—the classics of tomorrow—aligned with Music Director Gustavo Gimeno’s artistic vision. Spotlight Artist Renaud Capuçon serves in a dual role, leading the orchestra as conductor and performing as the violin soloist. The production unfolds across two distinct acoustic environments: two evening performances at Roy Thomson Hall followed by a Sunday matinee at the George Weston Recital Hall.
