The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra presents a dynamic symphonic program centered around Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony, conducted by Riccardo Minasi. The concert opens with the Dutch premiere of Emilie Mayer's Faust Overture, a critically acclaimed 19th-century work that had previously faded into oblivion. The centerpiece of the performance features the return of young piano virtuoso Mao Fujita, who performs Mozart's sublime Piano Concerto No. 25, following his highly praised 2023 debut with the orchestra.
