Alles Liebe! is a contemporary queer country operetta that fuses classic operetta wit and dance with urban electroacoustic colors and orchestral sheen. Serbian composer Misha Cvijović aims to honor Viennese and Berlin operetta traditions while speaking urgently to the present. The work is the first stage piece by a female composer to premiere in the Großes Haus at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. Anna Weber’s staging breaks the fourth wall, linking stage and auditorium for an immersive, high-energy experience. Stella Lennert’s bright, colorful world features transparent half‑timbered house motifs from above, complemented by Alexander Djurkov Hotter’s lavishly varied costumes. The production embraces operetta’s core—daydreams sung and danced, celebrations of love and drink, and the dream of freedom and equality—updated for a diverse modern audience. Content notes: flickering lights, stage fog, and several loud bangs in the finale; queerphobia appears in language. Recommended for ages 13+.
