Illustrator Robert Nippoldt creates captivating worlds live on stage using camera, paper, animations, and objects; these are projected in large format so every stroke becomes immediately visible. Musically, the cosmic expedition is accompanied by the “Urknall Orchester,” which lights up well‑known space melodies and film music with charm, humor, and fresh arrangements. Historic milestones of space travel meet artistic imagination, pop culture, and retro‑futuristic visions—a brisk evening full of wonder and longing for the stars. The piece incorporates paper elements, hand puppets, text panels, live animations, and drawings to craft a retro‑futuristic astro‑delight.
