About this event

Qualia is presented as a notebook and a glossary of ideas, symbols, metaphors, and images aimed at enriching our perspective on what we call reality. The production establishes a unique dialogue between scientific concepts and choreographic creation, questioning whether it is possible to involve the physical experience of the body to approach and understand new paradigms in physics. In a contemporary social climate where technology often seems to escape human comprehension and virtual interactions increasingly dominate human relationships, the piece interrogates the current place of the physical body. The directorial vision challenges the audience to conceive the body as an energetic entity that continuously interacts with a world that remains partially beyond our understanding. The production is inspired by the quote, “Light is the voice of matter” by Eulalia Balcells, using light as a fundamental thematic and visual element.
