Die Kleine Meerjungfrau – Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater, Schwerin

About this event

This is a mobile, semi-staged production for children from age five. It can be booked for schools and performed in an aula or sports hall, while the public performances use M*Halle in Schwerin and Kulturmühle in Parchim. The compact staging travels between venues. Linnea Vogel plays the Mermaid, Reinhild Köhncke narrates, and a puppet represents the Prince. The Opera Chorus and a string quintet from the Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle provide the music. The design uses sea-blue costumes, reduced props, fabric waves, projections, and lighting.
