This concert spotlights composer Ragnar Grippe, whose artistic voice grew out of electronic music studies in Paris in the early 1970s. Grippe’s career spans major commissions, including work for La Scala in Milan and collaborations with international choreographers such as Carolyn Carlson. He is also known for film music, including the theme for the Swedish Jönssonligan films, and for pioneering electronic creation at Elektronmusikstudion in Stockholm. The program explores Grippe’s clear French influences and immerses the listener in shifting acoustic spaces. Focus moves constantly to create surprise, while the music subtly deepens the perception of sound and space. The auditory journey is complemented by light architecture by Tobias Rylander.
