Xplore: Crushing Silence is a concert devoted to the music of Swedish composer Ragnar Grippe. Grippe studied electronic music in Paris in the early 1970s and has built an international career, including composing for La Scala in Milan and collaborating with choreographer Carolyn Carlson. The program presents three works by Grippe, including a world premiere, and is hosted on the Kuben stage at Malmö Live Konserthus. A pre-concert talk will be held at 14:15 on the Kanalscenen to offer additional context for the composer and the afternoon’s program.
