Since his debut as a choirboy at the Teatro San Carlo at the age of six, Vincenzo Costanzo has carried the sun of Naples in his voice. Born in the footsteps of Enrico Caruso and trained in this land of song whose heritage he proudly claims, the Neapolitan tenor now commands the greatest international stages. His warm personality and ardent temperament, which led to the triumph of his Maurizio in Adriana Lecouvreur at the Capitole last season, find their most authentic expression in this production. For this Christmas concert, Costanzo returns to the repertoire of his childhood: the Neapolitan melodies that have soothed generations, alongside sacred pages whose fervor resonates with particular emotion during the Advent season. In this festive and reflective program, he is warmly surrounded by a team of marvelous Neapolitan musicians and the Chorus of the Opéra national du Capitole.
