About this event
Frissons is a thematic symphonic concert designed to evoke thrills and chills through four fantastical and magical orchestral pieces. The production connects artistic inspirations ranging from macabre folklore to auteur cinema and iconic animation. Its curatorial approach highlights the interplay between visual arts and orchestral music, featuring works either inspired by visual media or indelibly linked to it. The journey moves through the supernatural: the eerie charm of a magical violin, the psychological spell of mid-century cinema, the dark, hypnotic seascape of spectral painting, and the unruly enchantments of a sorcerer’s workshop. The total running time is 1 hour and 20 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.
