Poetry Slam meets Orchestra has by now become a fixture in the concert calendar of the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck (TSOI). This unique concert format brings grand symphonic music together with the vibrant Tyrolean poetry‑slam scene. It is a very special kind of “battle” in which the slammers ultimately compete for points and the audience’s favor. The format is part of the “Encore: Theater and Music Education” series and aims to make classical music accessible to a wide audience through a crossover with spoken word.
