1. Symphoniekonzert – Congress Innsbruck, Innsbruck

About this event

The "1. Symphoniekonzert" opens the 2026/2027 season of the Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck at Congress Innsbruck (Saal Tirol). Led by conductor Ainārs Rubiķis, the evening follows a classic two-part orchestral format with one intermission. To enrich the audience experience, a pre-concert introduction (Konzerteinführung) takes place at 19:15 in the Kristall Foyer ahead of the 19:30 start. The program features Shchedrin’s vivid Carmen Suite after Bizet for strings and percussion, followed by Dvořák’s powerful Symphony No. 7 in D minor. Presented by the Tiroler Landestheater, the concert launches a series of five symphonic programs that aim to create vibrant cultural encounters in Innsbruck.
