Carnegie Hall’s 2026–2027 season officially opens on October 8, 2026, with a festive Opening Night Gala featuring the Berliner Philharmoniker led by Chief Conductor Kirill Petrenko. The evening anchors the orchestra’s residency at Carnegie Hall and showcases Respighi’s celebrated Roman tone poems, Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome. Adding to the gala atmosphere, star tenor Jonas Kaufmann joins to perform a selection of Italian opera favorites. The concert is presented on the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.
