About this event

This sixth edition of the Classique & Mix series with FIP at the Auditorium of Radio France unites orchestral tradition with contemporary electronics. The evening centers on Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5, first presented in its original symphonic form by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under conductor Dalia Stasevska. In the second half, electronic music producer Chloé and percussionist Vassilena Serafimova extend the symphony’s themes into a new sonic space, blending synthesizers, machines, and marimba. Their long-standing collaboration emphasizes close interplay between acoustic resonance and electronic texture, creating a continuous musical arc from early 20th‑century symphonic writing to present‑day sound design. The result is a high‑level dialogue between orchestral color and electronic/percussive invention that reimagines a landmark of the repertoire.
