About this event
Orchestra Academy is a collaborative, non-subscription concert presented by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. The entire programme is devoted to a single monumental work: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125. The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande joins forces with the Orchestre de la Haute école de musique de Genève, with the combined forces performing under the baton of Ton Koopman. The performance is designed as a continuous experience of about one hour and ten minutes without an intermission.
