The first chamber concert of Theater Regensburg’s season, titled “Experiments,” places three string quartets side by side across style and time: Schubert’s dark and concentrated Quartettsatz in C minor, Florence Price’s lyrical and vital String Quartet No. 1 in G major, and Ravel’s luminous String Quartet in F major. Together they trace a path from early Romantic intensity through an early-20th-century American voice to French modern color.
