About this event
In October 2026, the largest-ever production of Wicked returns to the GöteborgsOperan. The acclaimed staging previously swept audiences off their feet during its first run in 2023, playing to sold-out houses and seen by over 110,000 people. Directed by Samuel Harjanne, the revival features an expanded orchestra, a large ensemble, and breathtaking scenery. The production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International and is based on the original Broadway production directed by Joe Mantello. Performed in Swedish with Swedish and English titles, it runs approximately 3 hours 15 minutes including a 30-minute interval.
