Beyond Holy Night: Ein Weihnachtskonzert is a distinctive Christmas concert experience presented at Brainlab’s headquarters in Munich. Co-created by the Bavarian State Opera’s Opera Studio, the Hermann Levi Academy of the Bavarian State Orchestra, and innovation partner Brainlab AG, the evening begins at 18:00 with an outdoor Xmas Get-Together Christmas market, where food and drinks are included in the ticket price. The foyer opens at 18:45 (no food or drinks allowed inside), and the 70-minute concert without intermission starts at 19:30. General admission seating is spread across multiple floors of the Brainlab atrium, allowing audiences to freely choose their spots. The artistic concept typically features members of the International Opera Studio performing Christmas songs from their home countries alongside seasonal highlights with the Orchestra Academy. Visual projections by video and performance artist Manuela Hartel and staging by director Catharina von Bülow complement the musical program.
