About this event

Presented by the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien as part of the long-term “Haydn 2032” project, this concert brings Il Giardino Armonico to the Brahms-Saal under Giovanni Antonini. The initiative aims to perform and record all of Joseph Haydn’s symphonies by the composer’s 300th anniversary in 2032. Led by Antonini—one of the artistic architects of Haydn 2032—the period-instrument ensemble appears in a traditional orchestral concert setting in the renowned acoustics of the Musikverein’s Brahms-Saal.
