About this event

The Man in Black: A Tribute to Johnny Cash is a dedicated homage to one of America's greatest musical icons. The production is anchored by Shawn Barker, who revitalizes the true character and spirit of Johnny Cash. Barker performs entirely in character throughout the evening, utilizing his strikingly similar looks, baritone voice, and spot-on mannerisms to recreate the authentic Cash experience. The staging is designed to be an energetic, one-of-a-kind show that relies on live musical authenticity rather than heavy theatrical abstraction. Barker is supported by a full backing band, ensuring that the instrumental arrangements match the classic country, rockabilly, and rock and roll sounds that defined Cash's extensive career.
