Loreena Mckennitt - The Mask And Mirror - 30e Anniversaire – Théâtre Capitole, Quebec

About this event

In the fall of 2026, award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt will commemorate the 30th anniversary of her landmark 1994 album, The Mask and Mirror, with a tour across Eastern Canada. This marks the second leg of the anniversary tour, which first appeared at European festivals in summer 2024. The itinerary includes cities across New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Québec, and Ontario, beginning in Moncton on October 13 and concluding in Toronto on October 31. The Mask and Mirror signaled a pivotal moment in McKennitt’s career, blending Celtic, Moroccan, and Spanish influences. Inspired by her travels through Galicia in Spain and later Marrakesh and the Moroccan desert, the album explores 15th-century Spain. It weaves the cultural and spiritual threads of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity into a timeless, immersive musical journey that critics have praised for its depth and transcendence.
