Outside the Salon is a new event series by Pittsburgh Opera that brings the power and intimacy of opera out of traditional venues and into unexpected spaces across Pittsburgh. Each performance takes place in a different neighborhood, offering audiences a close-up, immersive experience where culture and community intersect. The Sip & Sing installment focuses on the intersection of music and wine. The concept invites attendees to discover the magic of opera as each wine is paired with a live aria, highlighting the story, language, and passion behind the music through curated pairings.
