Lake Street Dive – O2 Academy Leeds, Leeds

About this event

Lake Street Dive's 2026 tour supports their eighth full-length, GRAMMY-nominated album, Good Together. The production reflects the band's ethos of "joyful rebellion," aiming to counter cultural isolation and divisiveness with unbridled dancing and communal uplift. The sonic landscape of the performance encompasses a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, R&B, funk, and Brazilian pop. The creative vision for this tour stems from the band's highly collaborative songwriting process, which involved generating new songs using a 20-sided die to determine chords, meter, and tempo. This approach expanded their musical palette and expressive range, resulting in their most collaborative and powerfully exuberant work to date. For the Newport, KY performance, Lake Street Dive has partnered with PLUS1, directing $1 from every ticket sold to support organizations at the intersection of civil liberties, voting rights, and environmental protection, as well as Hurricane Melissa relief efforts.
