October Song Shop is a free, informal noontime concert presented by Pittsburgh Opera, held in the George R. White Opera Studio at the Bitz Opera Factory. Designed to be welcoming and accessible, the one-hour program features the company’s Resident Artists performing a blend of opera’s best-loved arias alongside selections from Broadway, musical theatre, and other surprises. After the concert, a reception hosted by the FRIENDS of Pittsburgh Opera offers a chance to meet and chat with the performers, fostering personal connections and demystifying opera for newcomers and longtime fans alike.
