About this event
This is a concert presentation of Mozart's music during Advent, presented under the programme heading "Weihnachten mit Mozart". The programme contrasts the solo soprano writing of "Exsultate, jubilate", orchestral symphonic repertoire, and the large-scale choral writing of the Great Mass in C minor. Valentina Farcas is the soprano, CPE.Bach.Chor.Hamburg is the choir, Hamburg.Baroque is the ensemble, and Hansjörg Albrecht is the conductor. The performance uses live vocal, choral, and orchestral forces rather than opera or theatre staging.
