Christopher Wheeldon’s adaptation of the Cinderella fairy tale returns as a magical holiday experience for the entire family. Originally created specifically for the Dutch National Ballet in 2012, this sparkling, cinematic adaptation has enjoyed worldwide success, winning the Prix Benois de la Danse and receiving acclaim from New York to Hong Kong. The production’s design plays a vital role in its international success. Renowned designer Julian Crouch created the enchanting sets and lavish costumes, blending Victorian elegance with contemporary catwalk flair. Inventive puppeteer and designer Basil Twist adds an extra touch of magic with his breathtaking tree and carriage scenes. The production is a co-production with the San Francisco Ballet.
