This production of Under The Greenwood Tree is a stage adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s classic novel. It blends spoken word with live musical accompaniment to evoke Hardy’s rural world on stage. Actor and adaptor Mark Carey performs the spoken narrative, while the musical duo ARKangel provides live music. Produced by the Stratford Theatre Company, the staging is designed for a flexible UK tour of intimate community spaces such as village halls and libraries.
